Big Emotions (Home + Classroom)

We all know that little children have VERY big emotions. And until their brains mature and are better able to reason, it’s our job to help them learn appropriate coping skills, that can help them right now and throughout their lives. For kids, something as simple as a change in routine or a sock that doesn’t quite feel right can trigger a landslide of anxiety and stress. And these feelings are very real, and very scary for our kids. So welcome! Take a deep breath; stay awhile. I’m hopeful that the weight in the pit of your stomach will finally relax because you now have a plan…and it all starts with one small step forward.

Calling all parents, teachers, and practitioners who want to teach the most valuable life skills – emotional regulation and confidence. What if I could show you a proven way to take your home or classroom from overwhelmed and stressed to a happiness nest — even if your student is losing it over Sally stealing their purple glitter glue or your sweet child is thrashing around on the ground because you gave them a green plate instead of a purple one (the nerve).
